Choosing the Right Facial Treatment in LA

Walk into any skincare menu in Los Angeles and you'll notice a handful of facial options that all sound appealing but actually do very different things for your skin. A quick refresh before a big event calls for something different than a treatment aimed at fading acne scars or softening fine lines.

That's why our five star beauty salon put together this guide, drawing on what our estheticians actually recommend once they know your skin type, your timeline, and the specific concern you're hoping to fix.

Start With Your Skin Goal, Not the Menu

The easiest way to pick a facial is to start with what you want to change, rather than scrolling through service names. Are you dealing with dullness and just want a healthy glow? Do you have specific concerns like pigmentation, acne scarring, or uneven texture? Or are you simply looking for routine maintenance to keep your skin in good shape between deeper treatments? Each of these points toward a different service, and knowing your goal upfront saves time when you sit down with an esthetician.

Signature Facial: The All-Around Option

Our Signature Facial, priced at $125, is built for anyone who wants a thorough, customized treatment without a specific medical concern driving the visit. It deeply cleanses, hydrates, and rejuvenates the skin, and it is a strong choice if you want a noticeable glow for an event or simply want to reset your skin after a stretch of stress, travel, or sun exposure.

This is usually where we start with new clients who are not sure yet what their skin actually needs.

Understanding Chemical Peels

A chemical peel is a treatment that uses an acid solution to remove the outer layer of skin, encouraging fresh, smoother skin to surface underneath. The strength of the peel determines how much it targets deeper concerns versus giving a lighter refresh.

Our Beginner Peel, priced at $170, is designed for anyone new to peels. It exfoliates and brightens with minimal downtime, which makes it a good entry point if you have never had a peel before and want to see how your skin responds. Our Advanced Peel, priced at $200, goes further. It targets fine lines, acne scars, pigmentation, and uneven texture with deeper exfoliation, and it is better suited for clients who already know their skin can handle a stronger treatment.

Express Facial: When Time Is Tight

Not every visit needs to be a full production. Our Express Facial, priced at $40, includes cleansing, light exfoliation, and hydration in a shorter session.

It works well if you have a same-day event, want a quick refresh between full facials, or simply do not have time for a longer appointment but still want your skin looking its best.

Matching the Treatment to Your Timeline

Timing matters as much as the treatment itself. If you have an event within a day or two, an Express Facial or Signature Facial is the safer choice, since deeper peels can leave skin slightly pink or sensitive for a short period afterward. If you have more time before you need to look your best, an Advanced Peel gives your skin longer to fully show its results. As a general rule, book peels a couple of weeks out from anything important, not the day before.

Talk to an Esthetician Before You Book

Even with this breakdown, skin is personal, and what works well for one person can be too intense or too mild for another. Our estheticians take the time to look at your skin in person before recommending a treatment, since things like sensitivity, current products you are using, and recent sun exposure all affect which option makes sense. If biorevitalization or a deeper rejuvenation treatment is something you are curious about alongside a facial, our team can walk you through how the two work together during your visit.

You can see our full skincare menu on our skincare services page, and if biorevitalization is something you are curious about, our biorevitalization services page has more detail. For everything else about our salon, our home page is the best place to start.
